The habit of smoking


How to get out of the habit of smoking ? How to quit smoking ? These are the questions I hear almost every day from my friends, acquaintances and what not. First of all I want to say that to quit smoking is hard, it is very hard. Unfortunately I know only a few persons who quit smoking and all of that people are saying the same - it is much better without cigarettes, smoking is bad and stupid thing.

I quit smoking two years ago. I han been smoking for 4 years before I quit. Am I feeling good without cigarettes ? Hah! I don't understand why I was smoking at all. It is impossible for me to understand why I was smoking. Do you understand ? No? Nobody understands why they smoke.

My way of getting rid of the habit of smoking


So, how to quit smoking. My way consists in the next. First of all you have to run. Run everytime when it is possible - in the early morning (if you feel shy of it) , in the evening , at night. I was running approximately for a month. I couldn't stand running any more. But the most interesting that I was running and simultaneously I was smoking. No, no, no - it doesn't mean that I was running with a cigarette in my mouth. I was running then I was comming home and the longing for smoking was so hard that sometimes I couldn't stand against it. Sometimes I smoke after running, sometimes not. And so after I han been fighting with myself for two weeks I was only running, without smoking cigarettes after that (and before of course). It went on like that for two weeks. Then I stopped running and also quit smoking. I understood that I was addicted to it strongly. And I knew that I had to something more.

You should liquidate the inclination to cigarettes


You have to exchange an intoxication that you have after smoking a cigarette for another one. What I mean ? The feeling after smoking a cigarette is very approximate to that one that you have for example after a cup of beer or after coffee. So what I did ? I exchanged a cigarette smoking for beer drinking. It doesn't mean that I drank two litres of beer per day. No! When I had a strong desire to smoke a cigarette I drank a little cup of beer so that to liquidate the "withdrawal pains". I am not assuring you that this method is 100 % effective. Be careful not to become an alcoholic and a smoker simultaneously. This method was effective with me. Actually I don't like a beer very much may be that is why I chose it. So I was drinking that beer instead of smoking for two weeks. Then after one month without smoking and beer han left I quit smoking , my addiction disappeared. Now I am not addicted at all. You mustn't drink beer for a long , you may become addicted to it ! You should just exchange smoking for beer for some little period of time.

Conclusion


To come off a cigarettes is very hard. Believe me. But you have to do it because it worth the effort. You have to quit smoking because your health is the most important thing in your life.
